The Edina Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) was established in 1974 for the purpose of undertaking urban redevelopment projects and assisting with the development of affordable housing.
The HRA has been the driving force behind the renewal of several commercial and mixed-use area for decades. Past successes include the renewal and growth of 50th & France, as well as the Edinborough Park and Centennial Lakes mixed-use developments. In addition, the HRA facilitated the development of a number of low- and moderate-income housing developments, including Yorkdale Townhomes, Oak Glen, Summit Point and South Haven.
